Our extra virgin olive oil Altanum takes its name from the very ancient town of San Giorgio Morgeto, the Reggio Calabria municipality where Olearia San Giorgio and the Fazari brothers’ farms are based. This town, now a charming medieval village, was with its famous castle and even more anciently a fortress of Calabria.
Our extra virgin Altanum is extracted from five olive varieties: ottobratica, carolea, sinopolese, roggianella and ciciarello. It is an excellent medium-light fruity bland, green in colour with yellow highlights.
