The polyphenols (antioxidants) and tocopherols (vitamin E) contained in TERRE DI SAN MAURO extra virgin olive oil are an excellent protector of our health thanks to their antioxidant and vitamin action.

Terre di San Mauro is obtained from olives typical of Calabria: carolea, ottobratica, sinopolese and roggianella.

The nutritional and health-promoting properties of this oil, obtained from the 5,000 olive trees in the picturesque Contrada San Mauro, 550 metres above sea level, are further enhanced by the organic cultivation, which brings beneficial effects to the entire surrounding landscape, which is of evocative charm.

Sensory Profile

Olfactory examination reveals a fruity
medium-light fruitiness with unmistakable hints
herbaceous notes that predominate over those of green apple, green tomato, mint and basil, although these are also pronounced.

Its taste is composite, fine and persistent. Very good on everything, but wonderful on tuna and meat tartare as well as on creamed vegetables.
